Lol, you would make a good party man, if they the USSR had survived. I was surprised to learn that Gorbachev believed that Chernobyl was a major factor in the fall of the USSR.

In my opinion, what happened at chernobyl showed the incompetency of management of the Soviet government at the time which I think might have one of the many reasons why the then USSR collapsed.
