I recommend buying some monero or XMR.
Bitcoin is known for having a public blockchain, which people can browse. Monero has a private blockchain, which nobody, can browse. So, no one will know how much wealth you have invested inside monero.
Privacy is important to wealthy people, and therefore I think monero will succeed.
As for moneros price, it has dipped recently from a high of $31, to $26, so now might be a good time to buy.
Privacy is very important for me too, but i see the rise of other privacy focused altcoins like Zcash, Dash mixing, Pivx etc and i have doubts that Monero keep rising when there's other great privacy focused altcoins coming to the game, also privacy is just 1 feature than can determine success of altcoin and most of population don't care about privacy, they don't care even if they have backdoors in computers.
They say i have nothing to hide :).
For example.
Dash is trusted, pre-mined, NON-fungible, asic support.
vs
Monero is trustless, fair launch, fungible, asic resistant.
I have nothing to hide, but I don't want the bank manager to know how much money I have. It's none of his business......
