Today I'm going to write about sandstorms, a meteorological phenomenon unknown to many people. It should be noted that I'm not an expert on this topic, but the idea is to challenge my creativity and share information with all of you here on my blog.
Sandstorms or Dust storms are not popular because they are not that frequent and also because they require specific conditions for them to occur. First of all, they usually occur in arid places, and also the wind must suspend a large number of sand particles.
Lately, we have heard a lot about Sahara dust and this is also like a kind of sandstorm but on a large scale as it can reach several parts of the world.
In recent years the incidence of these storms has increased considerably, especially affecting people's health and agriculture, presumably due to drought and climate change.

Hoy voy an escribir sobre las tormentas de arena, un fenómeno meteorológico desconocido para mucha gente. Cabe destacar que no soy un experto en este tema, pero la idea es desafiar mi creatividad y compartir información con todos ustedes aquí en mi blog.
Las tormentas de arena no son populares porque no son tan frecuentes y también porque requieren condiciones específicas para que se produzcan. En primer lugar suelen ocurrir en lugares áridos y además es necesario que el viento suspenda una gran cantidad de partículas de arena.
Últimamente hemos oído hablar mucho del polvo del Sahara y éste es también como un tipo de tormenta de arena pero a gran escala ya que puede llegar a varias partes del mundo.
En los últimos años la incidencia de estas tormentas ha aumentado considerablemente, afectando especialmente a la salud de las personas y a la agricultura, presumiblemente debido a la sequía y al cambio climático.
