RE: I asked ChatGPT for some inspiration

in #bloglast month

it's interesting... started seeing language patterns like these from an astrologer in Bali on her Instagram - then shortly after, in my own chats with ChatGPT... and totally same fields/threads here...

but even though there may be some part of judgemental mind that wants to diminish the value,
seeing it 'just regurgitating the same type of stuff that could just be profound-sounding word-salad...' it definitely hits home at times with priceless articulations/reflections. 💎

AI language patterns are very noticable, if you've had enough exposure to them - it's not this, it's this.. - it's not just this, it's this, this and this.

It likes 3s

Besides the obvious m-dashes.

With my tendency to pattern match I have to watch out not to accidentally start to sound like AI myself.. although I sometimes feel like I sounded like AI before AI.. xD especially when it comes to validating peoples emotions and trying to be supportive.. xD

But if we talk about the content and not the form, then it obviously works as a mirror, a glazing, flattering one, but a mirror none the less.. think - mirror with a beauty filter xD
I like to catch some of my own blindspots with it, and more often than not it knows exactly how to gut-punch right in the feels..

As with everything, I feel like we have the first adapter advantages at the moment that can and probably should be utilised, but.. look at google.. and tell me that the same fate will not befall AIs.. as soon as advertisers figure out how to game it and do 'search engine optimisation' but for AI, it's game over.
