And because someone is a little more quiet than most people in the room, then you're wondering, is something wrong with them? Or because someone is more excited and more energetic, is something wrong with them? You want to give them appeal to calm them down. So I say all of that.

In the sense of sales therapist and others who may be listening in live or on the replay, that we have to take time to understand not only the people we're interacting with, but we need to also understand ourselves.

You need to recognize who you are. You need to recognize your hot buttons. You need to recognize your tendencies and how you tend to respond in difficult moments so you can determine if what you're doing is the most appropriate behavior.

That's going to be beneficial for you and those that are around you. We have to take time to understand that. And there's so many people who could not speak for a minute or 60 seconds.

If I were to ask someone in here right now, tell me about yourself and what it is that you represent. Who are you? And I was going to say a name. So if I were to say, who are you, Jonathan? And hopefully there's no Jonathan in here.

A lot of people would be stopped. They would sit there and they would start looking at the ceiling. And it's like, wait a minute.

OK, who am I? A lot of us don't know. You don't have the ability or the understanding of yourself enough to be able to quickly respond and tell someone who you are. And that can be a problem, because if you don't understand who you are, it's very difficult to have some of these engagements and interactions with people.
