They Didn't Read It Much

in #blog5 days ago

The pure church fled into the wilderness. Why? Because she was persecuted by the dragon, where she had the place prepared of God, that they should feed her there with feed her there score days, the years said, we're seeing in verse , that she's nourished. When the Church of the Dark Ages suppressed the scriptures and would not allow them to be accessed, you couldn't have them, you couldn't even read them in your own language.

It was in Latin, only the priests could read it. And are those that are scholars, and they didn't read it much, I don't think. So this feeding is on the Word of God, God saw fit that even when the Word of God was in obscurity, he was able to feed his church, the Word of God, not all of it, but passages, they meticulously would copy passages of what they had, slip them in, in their coats between the lining, and they would go selling jewelry, the Waldensians and the Huguenots, and they would go selling jewelry.

And whenever they found somebody that was open minded to, to the Bible, they would share those scriptures. And it was under duress that they did this, because if they were caught, they will, all the Christians were were all the Protestants, all those that protested against the papacy were destroyed. So I just saw a little note and it caused me to want to read it, excuse me, guys.

The above verse refers to the dark ages. Why was it dark? Because of the suppression of the scriptures. During the years, when the papacy persecuted the church, killing millions of people and suppress the scriptures causing the church to flee into the wilderness.
