Flying Burrito Brothers? That's just silly.
It's been a while since I made one of these posts. It had been a while before the last one, too. Truth be told, part of the reason I haven't written a post about the song in my head upon waking is that I've been working on my own songs lately and I often wake up with them in my head. Posting them would be both pointless and impossible, considering the songs only exist in my head and on some shitty recordings on my phone. If I die, check my phone... there's a whole lofi album in there that no one will ever here.
"It feels like this whole town's insane."
Yeah, I get it. These days, the "whole town" is just our homes. They're still insane, though. If we're in them. Mine is, anyway.
This song was actually in my head yesterday, and that's when I wrote most of this post. My computer is getting so slow that I can hardly even make Wordpress posts anymore. I'm starting to think about what I want to do as far as getting a new one is concerned. I decided a while ago I'm done with Apple. There are so many more options if you get outside of that bubble, though, and some of them are obviously better than others. I just need to figure out which ones those are.

Do you wake up with songs in your head regularly? What song was in your head this morning? Comment below, I'd love to hear from you!

WOW, you are fortunate you wake up with songs every day. This morning I woke up with a dream containing my employer's office, a colleague telling me I should stop talking so much about work, and me deciding to leave the group when going for a walk during lunch and find myself trying to jump over 10s of meters of water, which failed obviously, so I got soaking wet in my business suit and all.
Why moving away from Apple? Their newest M1 equipped entry-level (MacBook Air) seems to be super powerful. But ok, depends on what you do with a computer. None of the laptops is for serious gaming for sure. GPU's are simply not powerful enough. I'm waiting for the next MacBook Pro (need a lot of memory for the stuff I do), hoping they put an M1 with steroids in it. When not, I'm not sure what I'll do. Am already waiting for more than one and half year to move to a new laptop, since my keyboard is not really working anymore... But Covid came to the rescue, I hardly travel anymore, so I can easily use an external keyboard without too many issues :)
Yikes, that sounds like a rough morning! I wake up with songs in my head, but there are other thoughts in there as well. It's not all music. I have been out of work for a few weeks now because of Covid related stuff, but I'll be headed back tomorrow to join the rest of the work zombies out there. ha.
I'm moving away from Apple because I feel like their products keep getting more and more expensive but they don't offer many more features that I even want. In fact, they usually remove a few things I want with every new generation of computers. I jokingly tell people that I'm breaking up with Apple because I "can't afford the dang dongles" but really it's just that I don't think their products are that much better to justify the bloated prices anymore. I used to.
