Juneteenth is given the love it deserves as a holiday in Boley, OK. I was given the honor of guiding the crafting table this year! The subject was a local cowboy and reference from a local photographer. There were about 50 pre-sketched canvas, and we went through nearly all of them. I saw so many great pieces. Lots of talent around here!
This was my finished piece for the day. It was VERY hot at the start, so I was able to finish in about an hour without much interruption. Once the shade hit the crafting table it filled up quickly. The garden was full of laughter and good times. Made me so happy just to be there. I hope there is a painting table next year too!
