I can understand the concern over the plummeting prices. I believe Steem has a bright future for many of the reasons that you stated.
I have powered up recently and will again soon. I just need to win back some of my followers or find new ones.

That's the attitude. Once you find your place in the community I think that a lot of people get hooked on here.Just keep accumulating and stay positive and in 3 years who knows where we might be.
My main focus for now is to up my interaction levels and to expand my number of followers. I checked out my steem-ua and the number is a lot lower than I expected. It's been improving a small bit every day but my goal is to increase my sp over 10k and push my ua level up near the top. It will take work but that's what the winter is for.
Just stay positive and push hard.
