I'm a speaker. I enjoy talking. So I have my cup in front of my cup of coffee and I'm ready and I'm loving the topic, the responses versus the attack.
SourceMy family calls me Lucky. That's why I have this name. And I'm just here to learn and to serve.
Thank you. Absolutely. And thank you.
I appreciate you being here and stepping up to the plate on that. So what we'll do is I want to go ahead and get this going so I can get to all of your comments, thoughts and feedback as quickly as possible today. And we'll we can begin with you, Grace, if you want to do that.
But strategic responses versus attack or retaliation. And I know that we find ourselves in situations where people will make comments to us. Sometimes we label them as sideways comments, snarky or offensive, whatever the label may be.
We hear the comments that people make. We see the things that they do. And inside of us, we feel something that gives us the idea and the impression that I need to give them a little bit of understanding of who I am so that they realize that this is not the way to deal with me.
And we will say things. We may do things. It isn't always the best approach that we should be taking.
Now, what is a strategic response? Just a bit of a definition as far as this conversation goes. So this is how we're defining a strategic response today. It's a deliberate, powerful communication choice made after considering context, outcomes and long term impact.
