You share what you have to offer and it's OK to pass the mic back, but just do it. Put yourself in that position where you're actually getting the practice and getting comfortable being uncomfortable. And I say that more so forth for those of you who are afraid of being on the mic.
SourceSo for someone that's comfortable speaking to people, you know, it's not a big deal for them to come and just make a quick statement. But for those of you who may still be a little fearful, that's a great example how you don't have to have a lot to say. It's totally fine if you just want to come and say, hi, my name is Jonathan and I'm from the UK.
My name is Nadia and I'm from Saudi Arabia and I'm enjoying the space. And I hope to continue learning as we all grow together, whatever it is you want to say. The main thing is that you take a step to move forward because we want you to focus on making progress, not trying to be perfect.
We don't expect perfection because it doesn't exist, exist for us mortal people. It doesn't exist for us. So.
Even if you are nervous and afraid and you feel the butterflies, I want you to realize that the butterflies are normal. Everyone feels butterflies at some point in time. So don't let butterflies stop from doing something that could be beautiful and that could have a long term impact on your life or the life of your family.
So I want to encourage that. So we should see a few more people that will come up and share some thoughts and some insight as far as your experiences go about the conversation and the topic. Because I know everyone has a thought in here.
Everyone has an idea. So I want to encourage you. Don't be afraid to come up and speak and grab the mic, even if you just hold the mic and don't say anything.
