I dig pop-culture.
So, years ago, I wrote a crappy little comic book called Shylock. We self-published 2 issues and somehow broke even on the whole deal. During that time, I went to many comic conventions in Chicago, philadelphia, St. Louis, etc.
I met many people that I still have contact with, many of whom write for various well known blogs. One particular blog went through a shitstorm back in September and several of the writers quit.
Well, their loss is your gain. I have secured the writing services of the man known as Humphrey Lee (Not his real name, but that's how he likes to be credited).
I was shocked to find that he wrote his articles for the love of writing and was thrilled when I offered to pay him for his talent. I've been trying to recruit writers to Steemit since I started and this is the closest I've come to actually succeeding.
I will be posting his articles as he sends them in, and I already have secured his username for when and if he's ready to Steemit on his own.

Original and Exclusive Pop Culture Articles. Written by well known bloggers on the Steemit platform!
I have a couple more people that I'm talking to now and I hope to be able to expand this over to @steempop on its own!
What Will the articles cover?
Well, hell, what won;t they cover? We're talking Movies, Video Games, Pro-Wrestling, Comics, so on and so forth.

This should end up being an interesting project!
You really should write more about your comic book venture, I think that would be pretty interesting. I was into collecting comics for a while and I still have the collection. I have a couple of pieces of cover art from the Green Hornet series that are signed by Jeffery Butler. They're in a frame that was on my wall for a while before I recently moved things around. I just need to find a place to put them back up.
