In preparation for the 2018 World Cup which is to be Staged in Russia, two super stars where on ground to model the newly released 2018 world cup jersey of the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles. The first model is Nigerian football star Alex Iwobi who plays for Arsenal and guess what? The other model is not even a footballer. He is none other than Nigerian music super star Wizkid.
The ceremony which was organised by the the national team kit designer attracted lots of admiring fans and stakeholders in Nigerian football.
Not only did Wizkid and Iwobi dazzle everyone present, the kit itself was gorgeous. It is a departure from the green white green jersies won by Super Eagles lately.
Now that the kits are ready I guess the team is getting ready for the arduous task ahead, good luck ahead guys, be sure to bring the cup home. Yep I meant that, yes we can!
