I found this collection of artwork on the street in Lublin ... some of them sending a pretty strong message. I regret not doing a close-up on the artist names to be able to put the credit where it's properly due ...
On the right it reads "NATO close the sky over Ukraine"
"The place to store the pain till later - Zhenya Ollinyk (?)
"Once upon a time my home got seriously threatened."
"We were scared." (picture of a foot "Russia" going to step on the house)
"But my house and people inside are made of STEEL" (foot bleeding)
"So ... get out while you can! not your Ukraine!"
(Artists initials are VV)
Someone watching a phone or a pad, feeding said person with NEWS. I feel that I've spent an unhealthy amount of time myself in that position over the last few weeks. Artist initials seems to be VV.
Tanks marked with o, v, z, x, o. The first one is most prominent, having a z-symbol and a russian flag, and a text bubble - "We came to rescue - don't you see?" All tanks shooting and residental houses burning. Anna Ivanenko (?)
I guess the series below are real observations done in the bomb shelters in Kyiv, they also seem to be made by Anna Ivanenko, even if the style is completely different.
"What's going on there now?"
"Still shelling"
(mother reading from a phone to a child): "And one day the hen laid an egg".
"They said it's going to be shelling"
"Where are you going then?"
"To the toilet - don't wanna pee on myself because of fear!"
"You can take those mattresses. They've left and won't come back. The woman went to serve in the army. Her daughter left to the relatives, grandma - to her friend." And the woman is 56 years old. (2nd of March)
"My daughter works as a chef in a café. They gave away some food. We cooked hot meals there, will bring now, will you share here?" (28th of February)
Big flowers. Small warfare. Child angels flying towards heaven.
Russian army is child killer
