Videogames are cause of violence?

in #blog6 years ago

Violence in video games, in a comment very common among adults in this new digital age, and often accused of being guilty of certain, violent events occurred in recent years. But to be honest there will always be something new to blame every time one of these catastrophes occurs, the books were, the radio was, then the television, the video games followed and now they have begun to point to the virtual and augmented reality .

One of the most well-known facts, where videogames were pointed as culprits, was the "massacre at Columbine High School" where, two students entered the school firing at everyone who was there,
guilty, DOOM and Marilyn Manson, but to be honest, to be gothic, to listen to Marilyn Manson, was fashionable and doom was one of the video games of the moment, if true, then, this would have been just one of several dozen massacres, and taking into account that some of the best-selling video games of the moment, are Grand Theft Auto, Counter-Strike and Player Unknown, all violent video games with weapons, and that ABOVE the warnings are respected, and do not play under age, nowadays It should be a very violent world.

Now as far as I'm concerned, video games are not the culprits, I already explain why I think that, and I do not think it's society, or culture or religion, it's really something of each individual. Maybe television or video games did not make these Columbine kids violent, but they were already violent and these video games were just an escape or a way to do something as close as possible to what they wanted, because we're not all People with opportunities triumphs, not all slum dwellers are criminals. Everything is at the bottom of each person, each individual, or sometimes in families or groups of friends, the external factors although not foreign, have a minimal influence on these acts and the person instead of pointing or looking for guilty should be looking for solutions
