But, you know, whatever. So we'll see what's going on with that. We also have a ton of other really important news that have happened today.
I don't know if you guys saw some of the most ridiculous things that I saw today. One, there was a post from some guy named Maga Cult Slayer who has released his detailed map of how disinformation is spread and transmitted across the world, and it's just like a really shitty graph that, like, has balls and strings on it. Like, it looks so stupid.
I don't know what this guy's thinking, but very, very funny stuff. But make sure you guys share this A Space out. We've got a ton of other stuff to cover for the day.
There was obviously the biggest news from last night, which we were covering was that the Federal Reserve Chair, Jerome Powell, was said to be fired. Now, I have heard nothing more about that, and Trump himself denied that that was the case today, that he was pushing for it. But it looks like this might have been another one of Trump's sort of, you know, float it, see what people do, see what the reaction is.
He does that quite often. So we'll see what the actual result of that. I was talking about this at length earlier with a friend of mine, and, you know, there's mixed reaction on whether or not it would be good, whether it would be bad.
I think personally that it would be, you know, great. I have no love for Powell. I think that he completely ruined his credibility when he started cutting the rates in the middle of the election last year to try and pump the economy up for Kamala, which I thought was completely outrageous and should have never happened.
But, you know, he tried to do it anyway. So I think he lost all credibility back then. But, you know, we'll see if he actually ends up being removed.
SourceEveryone does need to keep in mind that he's out in May anyway, so it kind of, you know, just for the sake of the markets, I don't know if that's actually going to happen or not. There's been a bunch of people floated, but my guess is that this was just pressure to try and get him to cut rates. I'm not sure.
