Can you tell the difference between the phone audio and these expensive microphones?

I am testing recording with the Shure MV88 microphone for iOS and the Rhode Video Micro microphone with 3.5mm jack.

Turns out my previous test was borked because I stupidly assumed the connection would be fine with my bulky phone case on!

Still not convinced the audio (inside the house at least) is that much better ... see what you think?
