Hobbies are flex time. Work and family come first, then hobbies can be done with time available, or postponed. When family and work demand more and more time and responsibility, they have to be informed that this is beyond your agreement theshold, and want to cut back soon. In a way, this can be good for them (even though they won't like it), as it forces them to branch out and learn new skills or find others to rely on.
