Good warning, you wouldn't want a puppy-mill bonsai. If you did have other specimens of the same species it would probably be wise to douse anything new with a good wide spectrum insecticide/fungicide before putting it with the others or at the very least quarantine it for a period of time to make sure it is pest free.
