Yes, those Vikings were prolific! I had no idea Kiev had been the capital of the region. My great-grandfather left around the time of the Russian revolution and came to America alone at age 16. One of his uncles had already settled in Philadelphia and he stayed with him for a year before traveling further West into Pennsylvania and settling in Arona, PA.
