Addiction is more than a weakness of a certain behavior or substance. Addiction arranges in every human soul, for saying in a metaphorical way.
Every person has the inner power for deciding what to do with his or her own life. Addiction is a bad energy that destroys your creation like parents, relationships, friendships, and more than that.
So, getting through your own addiction will depend on people.
