You complain about what? Sending 1.5 SBD give you around 5$ upvote after 20% curation you will get almost 3.5$ divided to 50% SBD reward and 50% SP reward.
So you got your investment back + SP power + around 0.5 SBD in the current price of 5-6 real dollars.
If you don't like it don't use it.
