Bots are pretty much a big part of the hive ecosystem. They are everywhere here and you've most likely gotten a vote from one of them.
But if you venture out into the world of Discord, you'll see quite a few bots. I've made a few of them and let's talk about my favorites of them.
The first one I want to talk about is the SBI lookup bot. Instead of needing to do !sbi status on chain, I made a bot that lets you lookup your SBI info right in the SBI discord channel. Pretty useful, and it keeps spam off the chain as well. Who doesn't like that? I'm quite proud of that one, as it works quite well. Now SBI units are incorporated in the PeakD wallet so you can view it there.
I'm also behind the On-Demand-Boosting bot in SBI. That one's based off my Votefun. Votefun is used in quite a few other servers(that I know of, there might be even more that I don't know of since its open source and has got a pretty good guide on how to get started with it). This one works on both hive and steem at once and I like that. While the workaround I used for it was quite stupid(hey if it works, it works), it does the job and it does it quite well so who's complaining?
There's also the hidden GiftGiver bot in the @giftgiver discord server. While this is something that not everyone is going to see, and even less people are going to interact with, it's going to be a good start to @giftgiver's curation, once I get around to setting that up. Right now curation with giftgiver isn't done so I can focus on improving the faucet and incorporating something new to it(should be out soon, users of it will definitely like it).

You guys look like you have a solid plan on how to keep growing. Similar to likwid, but payment earlier and a risk for both parties. You could end up making a lot more than you paid if the post does really well, or the author could come out ahead if the post bombs. Good luck going forward, I'll continue to use you guys for posts occasionally. Maybe having a live chat for support(probably discord) would help you guys out. But now you just gotta get in front of more people's eyes(which I tried to help with the mention in the post).
When the price goes up this much it has to be adjusted but yes for the most part.
Yes, correct. Basically, the same kind of concept. We love the gambling aspect we are taking and hopefully will hit gold so to speak with one.
We envision it where people can sort of do both - use us and just post normally. Kind of mix it up.
Yes, everyone says a discord is a good idea. Any good managers of discords out there? We had promoted it but realized the tags don't place into communities so made that mistake haha... but yes thanks for the mention it does help!
I know there was this guy who setup discords for others for a fee, but I don't think he's still doing that. Just start one and throw a link down here, I'll help you guys get set up if you need.
Don't think thats the best way to advertise anymore. Get others to promote you, it works great and has worked great for me.
