A day outside...

Here is my photo for #bouldersunday which was created by @shasta.

While most of my beach and lake photos are of a very calm lake, the lake is not always so calm...especially Lake Superior. The lake had been so turned up before this photo that it washed out part of the road and the land next to the road. It also tossed these boulders up onto the ledge. Those waves must have been pretty high...and quite furious!

Yeow! must be something to see the lake
all wild and stormy! Beautiful looking
boulders and beach! The best part is all
the goodies to be found after the storm.
Last fall our beach got beat up like that road
erosion, was tons of driftwood to be found!
Thank you so much @nat-expressions for
showing these wonderful boulders for
#bouldersunday! :-)

Yes...whenever the lake churns up like that, there are always lots of fun things to find on the beach! :)

@natexprssions it won't be long and the road will be gone. Here in Florida the ocean keeps taking more of the beach away and now the state is hauling sand in to replace the sand taken and when the beach takes this sand away it is covering the reefs and killing them, but they are not worried about that, they don't want the rich homes to lose "their" land and they want a sandy beach for tourist.

That is very sad. The reefs are so important!

@nat-expressions I do not understand why they do it but I do know it is because of money and not caring about the environment, it is heart breaking to me. my livelihood depends on a healthy reef.

Nature's rock tumbler.

The power of that lake is truly astonishing! That is a really great Boulder picture.

Yes...it is astonishing! Thank you!!
