The Brawl in Tier 2 with SplinterLands Top Guilds

Joined the Guild - PeakMonsters[Vikings] around one month.

Here's how the Guild looks like. it's one of the top guild in PeakMonsters Guild group.

In the brawl on 11th Apr. 2022, we were ranke 2nd position over several top ranked Guild(#3, #2, #7, #14 and #18).

We got 81 win and 59 Loss and 0 draw. this is around 6 win points behind the 1st position Guild - Knight United.

The Reward we got from the brawl and how the Vikings performed individually.and we got 3950 merit which is equal to around 2 Gladius card pack.

How did I performed in this brawl? 4 Wins - 5 Losses.

How are the battles with each of them?

Battle #1 - Loss

In this fight, I missed the earthquake ruleset as I was focusing on having a high speed opportunity monsters with shield protected to break opponents' weak link and get Isgald bloodlusted. This was failed by opponents magic team with Chaos dragon.

I tried another way of building the team by adding the monsters who can fly, Chaos Dragon + the opportunity high speed attack. it ends working pretty well.

Battle #2 - Loss

This fight is totally my fault trying to fit the new dragon monster - CARNAGE TITAN in this low mana battle.

I did this battle one more time with a normal way that i would pick.
100% chance of winning.

Battle #3 - Loss

This fight is a bit different, I got the new Gladiator - ORELLA ABADON in last round. and would like to experiment it. Bad thing was I forgot to protect it from the opportunity skill. Maybe Splinterlands could consider to have schemes that can use Gladiator instead of only useable in Brawl. (hear it may be useable in land system.)

Here i picked again with normal useage of the Gladiator. High Win rate.

Battle #4 - Loss
This is a bit off from the plan. the picked team has too less damage which is mostly the defensive strategy. A good lessons learn.

In the same situation, when i change to be all focus on attack. the result is 100% win rate. good leverage for next brawl.

Battle #5 - Win

In this battle, WHISTLING DAMON+MAGI NECROSI works pretty well even the oponent uses the scary Quora.

Battle #6 - Win

This battle is a bit interesting . both me and the opponent used exactly the same monsters. and he has a higher level REGAL PERYTON than i have. The key of the battle is my GOBLIN PSYCHIC attacked before his one. From this change, the whole battle result was changed.

Battle #7 - Loss

This is my first time to battle with TRAPP FALLOWAY. it's a pretty good one with high Melee attack.

Tried to use a slightly different strategy from what I picked in the brawl, mainly focus on maximizing the attack by adding SOUL STRANGLER at the backline. Surprise, the win rate is quite high.

Battle #8 - Win

In This battle, learned from previous brawl that I put ISGALD VORST before DEEPLURKER which results Isgald not able to take bloodlust. so this time I swapped their position. and the result works well.

Battle #9 - Win

With this super low mana limitation, it's very suitable for ISGALD VORST.

As the wrap up for this blog, Guild brawl definitely add a element of additional playability and fun to splinterlands game. after i joined the game since end 2021, i was pretty much enjoy the Guild brawl part. few reasons:

it gives a chance to get free gladius cards which have quite powerful of skills as well as the nice CP.
Peaceful field from the bots
The most important, it has a lot of fun to fight with other high ranking guild together with our guild mates and exchange the experience.
