Breathe

Stop what you're doing and take a breath. The simplest of things that we take for granted while it runs on autopilot all day long with no thanks for keeping us alive. Realize the power of the breath, be thankful for it. Start to notice that in times of stress, tough decision, deep thought, worry, and feelings of anxiety just to list a few we are actually not breathing! In these times it's best to take a step back and take a breath. Not just any breath I mean a real deep breath. Place your hand on your belly and feel the air fill your stomach and work its way up to fill your chest and then hold it for a few seconds at the top of your breath followed by a slow exhale. I use this exercise​ multiple times daily to help keep me in a peak state ​ because no good decision​ comes from a bad state. The more you use this the faster you snap out negative feelings and the quicker you get to where you're​ going.
