Just like 18 years ago, it is a beautiful day here - though not as quiet as it was that day. Other than jets flying overhead and the occasional siren, people were struck dumb. Or maybe I just muted them.
Nature is a setting that fits equally well a comic or a mourning piece.
Looking in the horizon - smoke seemed a shade from the sun. I made some drastic changes in my life as a result. And I remind myself whenever I fall into an unproductive routine, that it could all end tomorrow. Find something to be thankful for today.
