Yeah some US states have thrown people in jail for longer, and for less. It is a shame. Hopefully there is some trade made with her, which I’m sure this is the intention of Russia. Yet it would be pretty lopsided to those who are still locked up and won’t ever get a second thought about them.

The lopsided thing I agree with. As in, it's really quite indecent that she gets privilege for being a higher profile (and yet diplomatically insignificant person)
It would be an extremely lopsided trade if really dangerous people are released just to get her out. I wouldn't stand by that personally.
