Hello everyone,from the teachings of bro.eli I understand that a Christian in particular must always be knowledgeable of the future.
Remember that the Bible is not just a book of doctrines but the Bible is also a book of prophesy,and according to the Bible in the book of
John 14:29
[29]I have told you this now before it all happens, so that when it does happen, you will believe.
Here Jesus was talking ,prophetic pronouncements are made by the lord so that we may believe once it is fulfilled.
Christians are been told of future happenings and events before it evens happens,therefore it will make us knowledgeable of what is going to happen in the future.
We do not just live day by day expecting anything to happen,noting like the saying that goes"what will be will be"we have the power through God's help to shape our future
Proverbs 16:9
[9]You may make your plans, but God directs your actions.
A Christian is certain of his future he knows what is going to happen and he doesn't believe in the saying Come what may.
He's certain about his live in Christ and the fact that all men will die at some point.
