This post will cover how to bring your TUSC tokens onto the BitShares DEX via the BTWTY Gateway service.
What is a Gateway and what does it do?
https://btwty.com is a fully automated 1:1 gateway by providing a 1-for-1 IOU of native assets (eg. BTWTY.EOS and BTWTY.TUSC) on the BitShares DEX.
If you send 1 TUSC, you would get 1 BTWTY.TUSC.
The reason for this is it allows any token (with a Gateway) to fit in the BitShares DEX “format”. Think of this like “wrapped” tokens or Casino poker chips redeemable for cash.
Next, you will take your TUSC native coins from the TUSC Blockchain and transfer them to the BitShares DEX via the BTWTY Gateway.
How to Deposit TUSC to BitShares
- Go to https://btwty.com Enter the BitShares account name in the left column
- Click "Generate Deposit Instructions"
- Open your TUSC wallet
- Click “Send” in the same row as your TUSC, a pop-up box will open
- Enter information from both address and memo boxes on BTWTY.com
- Send the TUSC to btwty-gateway from TUSC chain with memo information from step 3
- BTWTY.TUSC will be issued in your BitShares wallet mentioned in the memo
If you would like to withdraw your BTWTY.TUSC tokens back to the TUSC Blockchain, you will follow the process in reverse.
How to Withdraw TUSC from BitShares
- Go to https://btwty.com Enter the TUSC account name in the right column
- Click "Generate Withdraw Instructions"
- Send BTWTY.TUSC to btwty-tusc-gateway on BitShares chain with your TUSC account name in the memo
- The TUSC will be sent to the TUSC account provided in the memo
