Doing things yourself does bring a feel-good record to us, basic tasks at home such as fixing, cleaning, and sewing are great examples of DIY task/project. People who don't get basic things done by themselves will end up paying for work that they could effortlessly handle by themselves, ranging from fixing leaky faucets, garden grooming, pest control, and other amazing DIY tasks.
Truth is, you don't have to be a professional craftsman before you handle some basic hiccups. A little effort here and there makes one master his craft and skills.
In our last DIY series, we highlighted some doable tasks and projects you can practice to save some money and time for yourself. In this series, we'll elaborate more on some doable tasks and their benefits.
- DIY lets you pay less for more:-
When you know how to do basic things yourself, understand the Pros and Cons of that particular task at hand, then it's safe to say you have the knowledge and expertise to handle that particular task at the same time, saving hundreds of dollars in the long run.
- Opportunity to interact and share ideas with others:-
As a dedicated DIYer, you'll get the opportunity to meet and interact with like-minded people, either from a social media site or an online class you attended. People are everywhere and over time, you'll get in tabs with them and become friends.

At Build-it, we welcome all sorts of DIY and How-to contents/projects respectively. Rewarding every valid article/project with BUILD tokens and STEEM as well as other freebies in an attempt to infuse the society with color and creativity.
Imagine what you can do at Build-it

I think a lot more people are doing diy things right now for multiple reasons. With the warmer weather, the home improvement stores are absolutely packed lately.
One of the great things when doing diy is to also support the local small businesses when you can.
We have been doing a lot of plaster and painting work and thankfully have a lot of the stuff here at home but we needed more paint and some rollers. We three times tried the big box store but the line was out the door with the China flu scare.
We were driving back and my wife just happened to look out the window and saw a sign for a paint store so we said screw it let’s try it out. Turns out he was a second generation small business owner and his family had the paint store open since the 70’s but he’s relocated twice. Thankfully this was a nicer more prominent location and we gladly paid the few extra dollars to buy better quality stuff and kept his balance that much better.
Bit long but support small businesses when you can!
Well said buddy @complxty!
