The inspiration of this creation is a black forrest cake.Unfortunately I wanted to insert a flair so I ended up making something that looked like this.
I started by making the cake base.
I wrapped it with pink then white clay.
Then I started making the "drip." I mixed glue and black acrylic paint.
Then I started "dribbling" on the sides.
I used the excess glue on top and I left it overnight.
I made the icing by using my clay extruder.
To get the chocolate wafer effect I used my textured lace mat.
I just cut it in sharp edges to come up with this.
Then I used a cutter to cut a slice.NOTE TO SELF:make sure the cutter is sharp to get a straight and smooth cut.
Then I used my needle tool to create the texture od the cake.
I went outside under the sun,took my UV resin and glazed the chocolate part to get a more realistic feel on the thing.
Then I cut a base for my clay and came up with something that looks like this.
I did a close up so everyone can see up close and personal how the cake slice looks like.
