BuildTeam continues to take aim at enhancing the Steem social network ecosystem as well as other blockchain environments. In our efforts to make BuildTeam one of the world’s leading blockchain companies, we now operate on a Proof of Stake (POS) system. Our company sucessfully completed its first POS distribution which we would like to share with you below:
Current Metrics:
The first BUILDTEAM staking payout on Dec. 1 was 6700 Steem.
At this moment there are roughly 10,500 BUILDTEAM locked into the POS system.
Looking at the math, this would mean that (1) Staked BUILDTEAM would amount to a possible dividend of about 0.638 Steem, if the same amount of Steem were distributed for the next payout on Dec. 16, and if no further BUILDTEAM tokens were staked. Of course past performance is no real guarantee of future results, so take that as you will.
Please keep in mind these metrics can change rapidly and staking BUILDTEAM is a long term investment decision. Our blockchain projects speak for themselves.
POS dividend revenue is now ongoing for all stakeholders; bi-monthly distributions have replaced the previous auction bid system and BUILDTEAM tokens are no longer forfeited by their owners, instead they can be staked for a revenue share and tokens can be unstaked via a 13 week powerdown period, analogous to the Steem Power divesting period.

Viewing stake information
After sending a Bitshares transaction, it can take up to 20 minutes (but most of the time it should be less) for your transaction to be processed and changes to your stake(s) recorded. To make sure your transaction executed successfully, you can verify your current stakes at any time by checking the public Excel record spreadsheet (screenshot shown above):

This sheet will always show the latest staking information, with data updated automatically every 10 minutes. Stakes are displayed in alphabetical order by Bitshares & Steem account, so it should be easy to find your entry.
Important Message About Staking
Staking is completely automatic so it's important that people fill out memo fields exactly as instructed. If you get it wrong, we are capable of manually correcting problems, but we will not be proactively monitoring it. If you stake, it's your responsibility to verify that it worked as expected, and notify us in the MinnowBooster discord channel through the usual support process (use #buildteam-tokens) if there's a problem.

What is the inflation rate?
Up to a maximum of 5000 new BUILDTEAM tokens are distributed each month, though it may be a bit less depending on circumstances.

So I am curious as to what will happen to the buildteam/bts tokens when the SMT tokens are implemented? Will we get out bts buildteam back? Will they be 'burned' and tranferred over to SMT Stakes? Anybody have any input on this? As well as a possible timeframe for the SMT buildteam tokens?
