Also, don’t blame all your shortcomings on something else. Own your life and realize that 99% of what happens to you comes from your own decisions and choices and own that fact. Don’t be one of those "the world happens to you" types of people.
No stat will support this opinion about the economy. Is the economy a little worse than a few years ago? Sure. Across the board we’re still richer than we’ve ever been since we started tracking real median income.
