RE: How much Hive can we burn in one post?

in #burn8 months ago

Think we can break $1,000?

Pfft, not even in dreams!

Let's do some simple math...

  1. AFAIK, there are no more than ~3.5k active users in Hive.
  2. Of those ~3.5k, at least a quarter are bots and Alt accounts.
  3. Many of them with low HP.
  4. This burning post at the time of writing these lines has already obtained 1158 upvotes for a grand total of $259.87 which includes the upvotes of the most opulent HP users & "curators" on the chain.
  5. So, even if we were to summon to the other rich "curators" out there who haven't voted yet to upvote this burning post, like: @adm, @alpha, @appreciator, @curangel, @darthknight, @pharesim, @ranchorelaxo, @smooth, @theycallmedan and @trafalgar.
  6. That would give us the following figures: 1158 upvotes + 10 = 1168 users who'd have voted. Which then, 3500 - 1168 = 2332 users who have yet to vote with a KE above 2.5
  7. Therefore... No mate! not even in your wildest dreams this post can break $1,000 to burn in your small fireplace.

We could hit it, but I expected roughly the same results ~$300-400.

We could hit it

Yep, probably. But only if Hive = ~$0.65 during this last week or if I had upvoted this post with my opulent Alt and filthy rich sock puppet accounts.

Well, we all know why there aren't many users left.

Attentive and conscious people who use accurate calculus expressed through the most basic, simple and clear mathematics never lies or fails.
