I am, as many of you probably are as well, very strategically orientated and therefore today's thought is quite a lesson for me. When approaching a new business venture, it is important to know exactly what it is we are doing and looking for in the business. A strategy is a good starting point for all that wish to pursue new things.
But as even the best strategists will say, the strategy changes very quickly and it is not always able to follow the plan to the letter. A good strategy is usually fluid and able to adjust to the problems. Other times, however, the strategy is completely unsalvagable and that is when your character will be put to the test. Are you able to continue with your venture if disaster strikes?
With the right character, it is possible to constantly reassess your work and adjust when needed. The right character traits are also important when proving your determination to succeed in the venture. Without character, the first problem to hit you may just be the last as you flounder in dismay and give up...
You’re right a strong character is very important but so is a very strong mind!!! But i think it comes along with a strong character 🤷♂️👍
A strong mind is still, in my opinion, most important. But to be a leader, Character is more important.
