If you're an adult you've been in contact with a business card, whether it was yours or someone else's. This is why I'm not going to explain what is a business card and what you can do with it. I'm gonna talk about the corners.

Usually, they are either square or round ( there's a lot of another shape possible but that is not very common).

A lot of people don't want to pay extra money to have the corner rounded. Why should they, is it worth it?

My answer: Yes it is worth it.

It is worth it because when you share your business card, usually, you hope the person you share it with will keep it long. You want to continue to do business with that person otherwise why would you share your card with them? Since you want them to keep your card as long as possible it has to be able to last as long as possible and this is why it is important to pay the extra for have the corners rounded as it will quintuple the longevity of your card. It makes it easier for people to slide the card in and out of where they keep it. Even more, if you decide to buy cards made of a sturdier material ( like metal for example) it will lessen the risk of tearing the wallet where it is gonna be held.

So, in the end, it if you want people to keep your card longer pay the extra money to have the corner rounded, you'll see, it's worth it.

I hope it helped you in your future purchase of business cards.
