Well don't take it personally! Here's some reasons why.

As the individual involved in the business, it’s your job to figure out why your friends and family are hesitating to help you or to join the business.
There is a good chance that whatever is keeping your closest friends or family from buying, using or shouting about your product from the rooftops will also keep potential customers hesitant and confused. Everyone is not jealous, hateful or salty, you just might not have your shit together all the way, and they don't want to hurt your feelings.
Reason 2)
Your Friends Don't Know Exactly How They Can Support You!
The most common reason our friends fail to to support us in our ventures is often surprisingly simple: they are busy and don’t know what they can actually do! Remember that they have no idea what it’s like to be in your shoes and there is no ”Handbook for Helping a friend Startup A Random Business”.
They're aren't actually being unsupportive they're just behaving the way they are.
Now my question to you is, are your family and friends aware that you're seeking their support?
