I never had any dog in my entire life although I always liked them and I play with them with any occasion I get. I know that owning a pet is not only about playing and having fun as you have to take him to pee in the middle of the night or early in the morning and that they leave their hair marks all over the house plus, PLUS many other downsides and treats that you get for owning a dog. This 6 months labrador puppy is of one of my friends and he's a very active one, as you can see in the pictures. It's probably normal to be this way for his age. Children have also a lot of energy compared with adults. But there's something I don't like about this one. He's too selfish. He only cares about himself and his own comfort. Haven't ever saw him trying to please his owner or at lest listen to him. He knows however that he has some commands to fulfill, but no, he doesn't move a finger to fulfill them.
As you can see in the pictures he was on chewing some good chunk of wood that we recovered from the water and improvised a chair on the deck out of it. This was his toy for about ten minutes. And he always has some of a sort. It's probably that he's teeth are still growing and he needs to maintain them healthy and his gums, but he seem to like chewing almost anything, from what I noticed. And eat all sort of garbage if the owner doesn't sees him. BUT overall he's the most selfish and spoiled dog that I've ever seen. He plays with you when he wants and how he wants, he comes to you when he wants, chews what he wants and yeah...he gets in the water when he wants and when you least expect it. I wish having a dog for sometime and have even an idea about the breed but till yet haven't materialized the idea. I do hope that if I get one to be much of a listener than Chilli. Yes that's his name because he's "spicy" all the time.
*What about you, do you have a dog? If yes, does he/she listen to you or it's just about his fun and play all the time?
Thanks for your attention,
Ace
I have two dogs, Ida and Stella. Ida is 10 and listens very well. Stella is 1 and listens well sometimes, but when’s she’s wound up and super energetic, her crazy side comes out.
I guess that in the case of Ida it's age made her a good listener. What breed are they?
They're both mixed breeds, but Ida looks mostly like a pit bull, and Stella looks mostly like a black lab. Ida was certainly more stubborn when she was much younger.
Good info, I hope you like my posts and you will vote for me
