Over the years especially growing up most of us will at one point have seen movie, animation or cartoon involving time travel, at the time I know many of us would have wished such a conception was real, you know to save us from some of the embarrassing moments of our childhood now we are all grown up many of us have casted aside the notion of time travel as the element of a child's over imagination, well don't give up too soon time travel is not all fiction there is a little bit of science that proves it's a possibility.
Since the dawn of science fiction, the idea of time travel has intrigued the imagination. Although it is usually dismissed as fantasy scientists have not been able to agree or disagree that time travel is possible. The revered professor Stephen Hawking once said " time travel was like considered scientific heresy, I used to avoid talking about it for fear of being labelled a crank". However, he is far more confident now, admitting he believes one day humans will be able time travel. some scientists insists time travel is possible in a theoretical sense but only when one is travelling into the past.
HOW CAN TIME TRAVEL BE POSSIBLE? super massive black holes Observed by professor Hawking as natural time machines, black holes are so compact that they have a huge impact on time, slowing it down more than anything in the universe, "Around and around they go, experiencing just half the time of everyone far away from the black hole. The ship and it's crew would be travelling through time," professor Hawking explain the impact of a black hole one a space ship. "Imagine they circled the black hole for five years. Ten years would pass elsewhere. When they got home, everyone on earth would have aged five years more than they had". Although the crew of such a ship circling a black hole would have to travel at the speed of light for this to work. Traveling at the speed of light In conclusion time travel is not possible for now, but there are more than enough theories that can make it a possibility, hey maybe it's even my future self that gave me this inspiration who knows.
Wormholes

For time travel to happen a wormhole. - where space and time are warped to create portals that are shortcuts through space- can be created according to the rules of theoretical physics. Astrophysicist Ethan surfs of Lewis & Clark college wrote that scientists are yet to discover the conditions to make a worm hole possible, but "there is nothing forbidding it". Wormholes can be created if or when scientists discover the counterpart to the already discovered positive or zero mass particles which are found throughout the universe.
Another instance would be travelling at the speed of light, a constant finite speed of 186,000 miles per second. Professor Brian Coz explained " if you go fast, your clock runs relative to people who are still, as you approach the speed of light, your clock runs so slow you could come back 10,000 years in the future". The problem with the theory is that as of now nothing can travel at the speed of light, even the hadron collided, the strongest particle accelerator can't make protons travel as fast as the speed of light, also the human body can't withstand time travel for now as travelling at the speed of light would kill us.
