PT Asia Trade Point Futures (ATPF) research team said in its report that the positive sentiment toward gold decreases as global geopolitical turmoil eases, such as North Korea, and trade war between China and the United States.
"Geopolitical conditions that began to melt after the meeting of North Korean President Kim Jong-un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in became negative sentiment for gold. The fading trade conflict is also less significant for now as a market driving gold," said the team ATPF research.
