Plaudit
What if we were able to 'like' an article and indicate why or what aspect of a paper we like, and share that as well? Plaudit is that kind of an app. They have an app for Firefox and Chrome each, and you can install on the browser. Then when you navigate to a site that can accept plaudit app, you can click on the icon that sits on the URL bar and it will open a simple window where you can indicate how and why you like the paper. At that point you become an endorser (geeky language to indicate who you are with respect to the article but OK). They also create a page for you as an endorser, say here is my page with link to my Orcid profile. They connect an article's DOI with an 'endorser''s Orcid profile.
