Your story was a great reminder that children learn heavily through observation. There have been many studies showing that children model their parents behavior and are likely to display violent behavior if they witness them at home. Keeping in mind that showing our kids a behavior makes them likely to imitate it is another good reason to just take that deep breath rather than shout.
