Steem price is only $0.31. But nobody knows when the price will go up.
It looks like there is no way to recover the steem price to several dollars. But I believe that steem is the most active SNS service based on the blockchain.

It may be very active but Steemit has to figure out a way to create enough external value to keep going and thus far it hasn't gained enough traction. Hopefully they devs will come up with something to turn things around but for the moment things are very bearish looking.
