What you described is exactly what i've been dealing with. I don't stick to my 10 upvotes a day. there are too many posts and comments that i'm loving!!!
so I've completely drained my voting power!!! it hasn't been over 30% in 2 weeks!!!!
my 100% upvote is worth 9 cents... but since i've drained my VP it's only worth 1 or 2 lately.
i agree with you - the amount doesn't really matter to me. and shouldn't to others that i choose to congregate around... because i try to choose really geniune steemians to be part of my "tribe" hehehee
but sometimes you just WANT to give more!!! and you can't!
so i found @tipu. and i give @cardboard a hard time sometimes with my teasing if the @tipu isn't working fast enough or does something that I didn't tell it to do hahahahaha but usually that's just because I'm doing something wrong or the system is down for a bit. (totally reasonable!)
but THIS allows me to give some real tangible love to a post! last week - 1 SBD was worth around 4.5 USD or something? i haven't checked it today - but my tip of 0.1 SBD was then worth 45 cents. i mean - that feels AWESOME!!! i feel like a dolphin hahahahaha i'm pretty sure that i'm going to write a post on this - because i really do love it, and @tipu and @cardboard.... I give you a hard time but i REALLY DO love your service and everyone should use it!!!!
