I have been following vice from the start. And it's a perfect example of why it's not that easy to fork your own Steem blockchain.
They might succeed in the end but it's not as simple or cost effective as it would be to just launch a working SMT at no cost.
I strongly agree with your opinion and i have invested both in smoke network and vice network and its a bit desperating to see how long they take to have a working prodcut, altough smoke is on track, vice is already 1 month delayed.
Absolutely.
I see so many who believe that STEEM is vulnerable since anyone can fork the blockchain. Yet as Vice is learning there is a lot more to it than that. This situation shows that even well funded entities might not have the wherewithal to bring something to market.
It is not as easy as everyone thinks.
