Bir tuhaflardı bugün. Kaçışıp durdular her biri bir tarafa .
Bir kısmı sağa bir kısmı sola uçuşuyordu. Sürü hali de kalmamıştı. Her biri bir tarafa uçuşuyordu, hiç böyle görmemiştim onları , savaş ve karmaşadan, yangından kaçar gibi, kafaları karışık gibiydi.
Hitchcock kuşları gibi ama saldırganlıkları yoktu, daha çok ölüm hengamesinden kaçıyor gibilerdi.
Ne çok kuş vardı bir de. dalga dalga, dağınık ve karışık.
Ne yapacaklarını bilmeden, düzensiz, darmadağın ve nereye gideceklerini bilmeden kaçışıyorlardı. yerlerini yurtlarını apansız ve tedariksiz terkediyor gibiydiler.
Kafaları hayata çok basmıyor ama biz insanlardan daha akıllılar. Biz bunu bile akıl edemiyoruz, ya da akıl ediyoruz da kaçmak istemiyoruz.
