US Government Worries Huawei Threatens Canada Security

Ottawa - US Government's (US) Fatigue against Huawei's needs for the country, extends to Canada.

Former Canadian political leaders worry about Huawei in a country that can influence.

Reported by Phone Arena on Thursday (22/3/2018), Canadian media, Globe and Mail, urged former members of the internal communications agency to cut all ties with Huawei.

All three are Ward Elcock, John Adams, and Richard Fadden, who deal with the US who think Huawei's network devices and smartphones can mimic.

In addition, Huawei is also feared will reveal leaking trade secrets from US companies that work on 5G technology. He also urged all parties to be careful.

"I will be very careful about Huawei's relationship, I am not surprised by the American assessment of Huawei and no doubt, especially about what they might do with 5G," said Adams, a former leader of Communications Security Establishment Canada.

On the other hand, Canadian Public Security Minister Ralph Goodale told the Globe and Mail that the government always keeps a close eye on Huawei and does not rate the company harmful.

"The company does not threaten cyber security in Canada," Goodale said.

Huawei P20 Will Launch with Android Oreo 8.1

Apart from a variety of slanted news, Huawei is believed to be setting up the latest flagship smartphone that is Huawei P20. According to a report, the Android version that will be pinned on the smartphone is Android Oreo version 8.1.

Information about this comes from a leak on the benchmark platform site, Geekbench. In addition, there is also some other information related to the Huawei P20 specification in Geekbench.

Based on information in Geekbench, Huawei P20 has the code name Emily or EML-L29 and supported Kirin 970 chipset. 4GB of RAM with capacity will also complement the smartphone.

In a separate report, all Huawei P20 series are called to have main camera with Artificial Intelligence technology (AI, artificial intelligence). Huawei P20 and P20 Lite are reported to have dual cameras, while the P20 Pro with three main cameras.

The Huawei P20 series will be announced in Paris, France, on March 27, 2018. The flagship series will compete with other competing products previously announced such as Samsung Galaxy S9 and Sony Xperia XZ2.

Leaked information about Huawei P20 has been widely circulated on the internet. One of the popular Twitter-leaking accounts, Evan Blass, uploaded a number of images claimed as the P20 series.

Based on the image, the design of the front of the three smartphones look similar. The main difference from the design side is the Huawei P20 Pro has three rear camera, while the other only two.
