Dan Larimer and Ned Scott... and We are all shareholders in a way :)
Dan Larimer does not own Steemit.com. He used to be the CTO of Steemit but he resigned several months ago.

Ned is the CEO of Steemit Inc but there is a whole team behind him.
Steemit INC owns steemit.com (and his the main dev team for the steem blockchain)
