Traditional trawl which began to be abandoned

Traditional trawl is still used by people in coastal jomblang, Lhokseumawe. most of the inhabitants on this coastline are professional as fisherman.

Traditional trawl has been used for their generations as a means to catch fish. this type of trawl proved to be environmentally friendly.


The way its work by forming a U-shaped net then trawl its pulled together by members, in the pull up to the beach.
this trawl I think should always be hereditary because this does not damage the environment even we get a lesson from the activities they do that is cooperation, spirit and never give up.

The conclusion of my writing is

  1. We must continue to preserve our customary culture is good because the traditional trawl is not damaging the environment.
  2. All activities if done together will feel easy.
